What can you or your church do to help us reach Thai people groups and see a gospel movement spread?
One-year intensive internships
Experience and training will be based on the individual’s strengths and interests. Possibilities include teaching English, working with our staff in reaching out to those trapped in the sex-trafficking industry, assisting in our church-leader training center, or an individually customized experience. We will work with the sending church to maximize the intern's impact and personal development.
Teaching English
Even if you have never taught English before, we will show you how to be effective using our detailed teaching materials. Teachers invest some of their free time developing relationships with their students and sharing Christ with them. (Minimum one-month commitment)
Camps
Send staff to help organize and run sports, music, or English camps.
Sports evangelism training
Conduct clinics that train Thai church leaders to more effectively use sports evangelism as an outreach tool. Christian coaches would be a wonderful asset to run these types of clinics. Those with degrees in sports psychology are especially welcome.
Sports leagues
Sponsor month-long sports leagues that help church-planters start churches and strengthen established churches. Send players or teams to share their story of how Jesus changed their lives.
Construction
Send work teams or provide funding to build a home for the Deaf Church of Bangkok, design the Udon Training Center, or renovate staff housing in Uttaradit.
Farming innovations seminars
Provide workshops to help subsistence farmers improve their methodology and productivity.
Deaf Ministry
Work alongside the Deaf Church of Thailand to multiply churches, train leaders, teach sign language to the families of people who are deaf, conduct VBS and youth camps for the deaf, and meet the other needs of the deaf community.
Leadership seminars
Sponsor and facilitate training seminars for Thai leaders and future leaders in areas related to leadership and/or theological training.
Retreat ministry
Help to organize, staff, and financially underwrite church-based retreats for men, women, or couples.
Prayer
Become Thailand intercessors who will earnestly pray for God to ignite rapid-fire multiplication of churches all across Thailand and among every one of the 114 people groups! Some may want to come and pray onsite. Join us for our monthly virtual prayer meetings.
Communications
Use your skills in video production to help us tell Thailand Initiative stories. We need communication teams to come work with our Thai and American partners to make videos, update our website, and help us maintain communication with our friends and partners all over the world.

Support projects and new US workers financially. Sponsor a Filipino missionary serving in Thailand. Sponsor a student. Sponsor Filipino pastors to come to Thailand on short-term trips to teach sports evangelism and church growth techniques.

church mobilization
Volunteer to serve as a consortium organizer to help Converge build a nationwide network of churches focused on our Thailand initiative. Converge already has Thailand consortium churches in Minnesota and Massachusetts, so people from other states are particularly needed to help identify potential church partners, host local meetings, and work with the coordinator to strengthen and expand the network. Project liaisons are immediate needs.
