Converge Global Workers

Rick and Myla Berry are Converge missionaries serving as Initiative Leaders in Thailand. Rick is the founder and Director of Karis Sports Fellowship, Philippines. He also served the Philippine field as Field Coordinator & Business Manager. Myla is a retired high school principal with a Master’s Degree in Educational Management.

Steve and Nopaluck Cable are passionate about enlarging our Thailand career missionary team by adding 15 new high-quality career missionaries who will focus on evangelism and church planting at 15 new locations in Bangkok using the Santisuk English school/cell church model. Only 0.4 percent of the Thai people know Christ as their Savior, and the SES/cell church model has proven to be effective in both winning people to Christ and training up leaders who can then go out and help start new churches.

As a faculty member of Baptist Theological College and Cebu Graduate School of Theology (BTC/CGST) since 2001, Mary has had the privilege of training pastors, teachers, and missionaries. I have been a part of the training of missionaries from BSOP (Bethlehem Star of Peace: an organization started by Filipinos to send Filipinos to hard-to-reach nations). BSOP has invited me to be their director of International Training. I now see how the Lord has guided me each step of the way on this challenging journey of following him..

Our goal is to ignite in a passion throughout Thailand for the supremacy of Jesus Christ as their only true Lord and Savior. Please pray that God would unleash his Spirit and his Word in Thailand so that many Thai people, who have traditionally been highly resistant to the gospel, will taste and see that Jesus is good and worthy of their worship. Pray for more church planting missionaries to come to Thailand and for more Thai men to respond to God's call to plant churches here.

Dustin and Melissa Leland have a passion for unreached people groups. With no one to tell them about Jesus, billions of people are facing a Christ-less eternity. Because of this injustice, Dustin and Melissa feel called to share the gospel with them. Their goal is to develop indigenous transformational leaders and to see a gospel movement spread among these people groups.

Shortly before Covid, Joyce visited Thailand and saw firsthand the great need for Christ – and for more laborers – and how God is at work through his people there. Following language school in Thailand, she will be teaching English and partnering with Thai Christians and other missionaries to serve and reach out to Thais with the gospel.

Based in the Philippines, Bethlehem Star of Peace recruits, trains, and sends highly qualified Filipinos to engage unreached peoples in Southeast Asia. Several of the BSOP fieldworkers in Thailand currently serve alongside Converge global workers at Santisuk English schools and churches in Bangkok.
